Formerly, the Invest Early Project, EARLY EDge is an Early Childhood program serving children and families in the Itasca Area Schools Collaborative (IASC) region. One of four IASC programs, EARLY EDge continues the Invest Early Project’s tradition of providing exceptional early learning experiences that prepare Itasca and the surrounding area’s children for kindergarten success.

for the 2025-26 school year, EARLY EDge serves children ages three and four as of September 1, 2025 in Deer River, Grand RApids, Greenway and nashwauk-Keewatin school districts.
We have 18 preschool classrooms and offer various family classes and events through our Early Childhood Family Education program.
